Energy

Energy consumption is a major contributor to our Carbon Footprint, and we have a contract with a company called Bizz Energy to supply Mannings Heath with 100% green energy. This was put in place in October 2007 and has been certified as renewable.

Recycling

A large amount of recycling goes on at our golf club. This includes glass, paper, cardboard and printer cartridges. 

We have in place:
99% Glass bottle recycling
95% Cardboard recycling
80% Paper recycling
(target to lift this to 100% by mid June 08)
100% Printer toner recycling

Food

All our Chefs and Kitchen teams are totally committed to supporting Food Heroes, an Exclusive Hotels initiative to promote and work with local suppliers, so that they can source the very best seasonal produce in and around their immediate area and develop excitingly varied menus.
