Code
As we all know rather well, fashions and
trends change and at Mannings Heath we do our best to
embrace these without abandoning the traditional values our members
expect. Please find below our views on dress code both on and
off the course.
Full dress code
On the golf course
Golf shirts are to be with collar, turtle
neck, roll neck and must be tucked into trousers or shorts.
T-shirts and football shirts are prohibited.
Golf trousers and tailored shorts are
acceptable. Beach shorts, combats or jeans are
prohibited (long socks and sport socks to be worn with shorts,
ankle socks are not acceptable).
Only golf shoes are acceptable, we allow soft
spikes in the summer and metal spikes in the winter. Trainers are
prohibited.
Caps may be worn but peaks are to be at the
front.
Spike Bar
All wear that is seen as acceptable on the golf course is
acceptable in the spike bar. Please note that spiked shoes
are not permitted in the main lounge or any of our private function
rooms.
Lounge Areas
All wear that is seen as acceptable on the
golf course is acceptable in the lounge areas. All visitors and
members are reminded that regular footwear is to be worn at all
times, stocking feet are unacceptable.
Smart trousers, smart jeans and tailored
shorts are acceptable but ripped jeans, cut off or beach shorts and
combat trousers are prohibited.
All shirts are to be worn tucked into the
trouser. We are mindful that fashions are changing but we request
that this rule applies with dress shirts also.
No head wear is to be worn throughout the
clubhouse.
No waterproof or wet clothing is to be
worn in the clubhouse.
