The Waterfall Course
Open to members only, the par 72, 6,683-yard
Waterfall Course stands on land where golf has been played since
the very early 1900’s. There is a lovely feeling of seclusion
created by the mature trees, the dramatic undulating terrain and
babbling streams which wind their way alongside 11 of the lush
fairways.
The 1st tee is set in the shadow of the
gorgeous clubhouse with the 2nd also being an inviting short par 4.
In fact, it is the short holes that are amongst the most memorable,
with the ‘Punchbowl’ 5th and the ‘Waterfall’ 10th, which both offer
elevated tees to small targets, gaining most of the plaudits.
In fact, Gary Player, one of the game's great golfing legends
included the par 4 eleventh hole in his "best 18 holes in the
World'.
