Meet Chef Kelly Pietersen: The Creative Force Behind The Vineyard Kitchen
Chef Kelly Pietersen leads The Vineyard Kitchen with a warm, welcoming approach shaped by years of experience across the Benguela Collection.
After beginning her career at the 5-star Lakeside Lodge & Spa in South Africa, she joined Penny Streeter at Leonardslee in 2019 before moving to Mannings Heath during the pandemic. There, she played a key role in establishing The Vineyard Kitchen.
Since 2021, Kelly has overseen the restaurant’s evolution from a simple takeaway service to a vibrant, all-day dining space offering brunch, lunch and dinner for golfers, hotel guests, and local visitors. Her focus is on approachable, flavourful dishes that suit a wide range of guests, from those wanting a hearty meal to others looking for something lighter.
With her friendly leadership and thoughtful menu development, Kelly has helped shape The Vineyard Kitchen into a relaxed, community-minded place where everyone feels at home.
